The Setting: The show takes place mostly at Raymond's house, with scenes in the kitchen and living room.
The Theme: The theme was very angered, but there is no was for Ray to not be funny.
The Inciting Incident: Frank (Ray's dad) misjudges distance and backs his car through Raymond's house on the other side of the street.
Rise in action: A heated argument (and Debra's horror) follows the inciting incident, over who was to pay for the damages. Later, there is another argument when Frank replaces the wallpaper and the stripes are too close together.
Turning point: When everything is finally fixed, but the wallpaper isn't perfect.
Resolution: When Debra tells Ray to calm down, and not worry, things slowly regain their moderate abnormality.
Main theme/message: Don't sweat the small stuff.
